Dr. Perelmuter entered private orthodontic practice in 1980 with Dr. Theodore Segal, a well respected Louisville orthodontist. He is an authority in several areas of orthodontics, lectures internationally and has published articles in orthodontic journals.
Dr. Perelmuter is a faculty member of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
In 2000, he became the first orthodontist in Kentucky to use the new Invisalign® system and is one of the most experienced orthodontists in the country using this method of clear, removable aligners. In his spare time, he is a musician and paints with oils.
