Braces
It is never too late to get braces! People of all ages get braces, whether they're traditional, ceramic, or clear. Tooth alignment can be changed at any age if your gums and bone structure are healthy
Your initial appointment will be an exam and consultation appointment with one of the doctors to evaluate your orthodontic needs. Dr. Perelmuter or Dr. Glatt will do a very thorough evaluation of your teeth, bite and smile. In most cases, we will take diagnostic radiographs, and photographs. This will allow us to decide if orthodontic treatment would be of benefit. We will then explain our findings and review your particular concerns. In the case of children, if orthodontic treatment would best be deferred until additional dental development or skeletal maturation has occurred, you will be placed on an observation schedule for growth and development until the timing is more favorable.
Should treatment be indicated at this time, we will discuss treatment options, estimated treatment length, and financial options. We may schedule a scan or take impressions for study models to allow us to develop a more precise treatment plan, which we may review with you at a subsequent visit. We may be able to begin your treatment the same day.

Before we decide which treatment is right for you, we need to find out IF treatment is right for you. Your first visit will focus on discovering and explaining your unique set of needs.
The majority of orthodontic treatments can occur during childhood. Check out our list of common problems and typical solutions.
The number of adults seeking orthodontic treatment is on the rise. Half of our practice concentrates on the treatment of adult patients, so we are experienced in the different approaches for adult treatments.
There are many technological advances in all areas of dentistry and orthodontics, in particular. One of the latest of these is the iTero intra-oral scanner, which Perelmuter & Glatt Orthodontics acquired in the spring of 2012, making us the first practice in the metro area to do so.
Straighten your teeth with a clear alternative to metal braces. (For Example: Invisalign®)
Clear aligners are a removable, discreet orthodontic treatment. They consist of a series of trays that you wear for several weeks at a time. As your teeth gently move into position, you start using the next set of trays.
